Zermatt, Switzerland - Alpine skiing and festive atmosphere
Phi Phi Island, Thailand - two hour boat ride from Phuket, this is pure paradise with turquoise bay and palm trees; laid back
Kyoto, Japan - unspoiled traditional Japanese teahouses and temples (a bit expensive)
Kenya - safari adventure, saw lots of lions, elephants, zebra, etc. Well developed tourist services
Krakow, Poland - the unspoiled Prague, if you will; visiting Auschwitz was a very haunting experience
